Production of polypropylene bags
A polypropylene bag is a durable, cheap and practical packaging that is widely used in agriculture, in hardware stores, in construction companies, in various types of industry and in households. Bags come in different colors.
Thanks to the widespread use of bags as universal packaging, their production is a profitable enterprise. As a market can be considered agricultural enterprises and manufacturers of building mixtures. Also, bags can be sold through construction and hardware stores.
To open its own production of polypropylene bags, you need a starting capital of about 5 million rubles. Most of the funds will be spent on the purchase, delivery and configuration of the production equipment line. The rest is for the design and equipment of a production facility that meets all standards in force in the Russian Federation.
The area of the premises to accommodate the production of polypropylene bags should be 800-1000 square meters. In addition to production workshops (a workshop for the manufacture of polypropylene yarn, a weaving workshop, a cutting workshop), a warehouse for raw materials, a warehouse for finished products, administrative and domestic premises should be provided. An industrial building must have an exclusion zone from residential buildings of at least 50 meters. The floor in the workshops, as a rule, is filled with concrete and covered with tiles. The best type of wall cladding is also tile. Industrial premises should be heated, have water supply, sewage, ventilation. Projects of industrial premises are made by design organizations and provide for the compliance of communications and equipment location with production needs and fire safety and labor protection requirements. The cost of the project is calculated individually for each case. The average is about 2 thousand rubles per square meter.
For maintenance of the production line, it is enough to have three workers who can work in two shifts. The average wage per worker is 18-20 thousand rubles.
Lines for the production of polypropylene bags are purchased in China. The estimated cost of the line is 3.5 million rubles. The line includes several types of equipment: equipment for producing flat and monofilament yarns of different thickness and width, equipment for recycling plastic waste at the end of the production of the thread, weaving machines, image printing machines, cutting and lamination machines.
Polypropylene granules are used as raw materials. It is easy to find a supplier; there are a lot of offers for the sale of pellets on the Russian market. The cost of a kilogram of raw materials is from 33 to 45 rubles. The quality of raw materials depends on the quality of raw materials. Polypropylene can be primary or secondary, obtained from recycled polypropylene products, including bags, free from impurities.
The production process begins with the fact that polypropylene granules are mixed in a special container with dyes and additives. Calcium carbonate (65 rubles per kilogram) is most often used as an additive, due to which the bags acquire white color and the necessary rigidity. The mixture is fed to an extruder, which heats it and turns it into a thin film. Next, the film is cooled and cut into threads. Threads are wound on spools. From the threads weave the basis for the manufacture of polypropylene bag – polypropylene sleeve. To make the hose, the spools of thread are tucked into a circular weaving machine, which produces the material in a shuttle fashion. The finished polypropylene sleeve is also wound onto reels. Next, the sleeve falls on the next line, on which it is cut out using hot cutting. Each part, cut off from the sleeve, the machine processes, turns, sews. The neck remains not sewn, it can be either edged, or tucked and stitched. Finished bags are placed in bales of 500 or 1000 pieces, pressed, tied with string and transferred to the finished goods warehouse. On the cutting machine there may be a module – a flexographic machine – for applying a mono-color or poly-color inscription. The inscription is applied both on the finished bag and on the cut parts.
From one kilogram of granules it is possible to make 14 bags. The cost of production of one bag – 2.9-3 rubles. In the case of wholesale, one bag costs 8 rubles. The monthly profit of the shop for the production of polypropylene bags is about 250 thousand rubles, which characterizes this type of business as profitable and very profitable.
